Attacker grabs around shoulders from behind
Demonstrator: Phillip Class: Men Level: Intermediate
Strategy: Here is a technique for when an attacker grabs you around the shoulders from behind.
Turn towards your attacker and bring your arm up, over and around theirs.
Lift up under the attacker's elbows, using your other hand to lift more.
In this position, you will find a head butt to the nose extremely effective.
You may also take the option to strike the attacker as soon as you are grabbed with a back kick.
Back kicks are easily practised by imagining how a horse or donkey would kick. Photos: 1. Grabbed around shoulders from behind. 2. Turn, bring arm over & around the attacker's arms. 3. Lift up under attacker's elbows. 4. Use other hand to lift more & head butt the nose. |
