Being choked on the ground
Demonstrator: Sarah Class: Women Level: Advanced
Strategy: If you are being held down and choked on the floor, then you need to quickly weaken your attacker's position.
A knuckle fist punch to the floating rib area can be very effective where the middle knuckle of the middle forefinger is used for extra penetration. You do this by just making a fist, raising the middle finger and supporting it in that position with your thumb.
After you do the knuckle fist strike your opponent may back up enough so can use your legs to wrap in front of your attacker and push them to the floor as you sit up.
The attacker is now very open and vulnerable to a downward elbow strike to the groin and/or leg lock. Photos: 1. Being choked whilst lying on the floor. 2. Pushing off with legs. 3. Downward elbow strike to groin. 4. Knuckle punch fist for penetration. |
