Knife Held to the Ribs
Demonstrator: Phil
Class: Adults
Level: Intermediate
Strategy: This technique has an attacker walking up along side, holding a knife to the ribs.
This is a position an attacker may take if they do not want to be noticed whilst taking you to another location.
Not telegraphing your moves is even more important than speed.
Bring your arm up on the inside of the attacker's as you turn.
Taking your arm further around, start pushing down on the back of the attacker's shoulder.
If you encounter resistance you can use both arms to push down harder whilst leaning to put all your bodyweight on the shoulder.
An arm lock may now be applied by grabbing the wrist and bending the attacker's arm whilst continuing to push down on the shoulder.
If needed, knee strikes to the face or body may be employed at anytime.
