Masters Tips:

Always use good quality bag gloves and leg pads to reduce impact on bones, joints and strike shields.
Do not hold this extra heavy duty strike shield near your face, head or other vulnerable part of the body to allow for kick shield flying back or if your partner is inaccurate.
Best to hold the kick shield target to the side of your body over against your upper arm and shoulder and maintain a wide strong stance.
If you have trouble holding the strike shield ask your partner to go a bit easier.

Unlike other shields i've tried before these ones are holding up well. Can take full impact but not heavy to use.
